This is a recreation of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica" that I had to do for my Spanish class to enlighten us about Spanish culture.

But yeah. I was going to show this to Mrs. Ferron as soon as Smithosaur gave it back to see if she'd wanna keep it. Maybe she won't want it. Cool, if not, it'll hang in my room.

Btw, I only didn't use paint because it'd have been waaay too messy and annoying. Plus, I was proud of my lineart (since it was all drawn freehand ((oh wait, except for the perfect straight lines; i had to use a ruler for those)) with a black pen heheh).

Here's some history (based on what I can remember from a lecture in AP European History):

Okay, so Hitler was bored and decided to test out his new bombs and so he chose to bomb the little city, Guernica (he figured that Franco wouldn't care). SOOO he bombed it. People died, the Spanish Civil War continued. Then, Picasso comes along and discovers what happened. No one really knew about it since Guernica was pretty remote (I think). Picasso, being the cool guy that he was, painted this (well, the original) painting to mark the event in history forever; so no one would forget about Hitler's stupid tirade.

(Tell me if I fudged the story and I'll fix it. Lol I'm too stressed about the test next week to worry about accuracy...)
